I'm fixin' to design a phoenix character for a rather elaborate personal short film that I hope to have at least a portion of in my portfolio. I envision this phoenix to have a long, elegant body type like that of egrets and cranes and the like, so I'm starting off my process with studies of those sorts of birds.
