I haven't been posting much outside of that toaster for a while, but I have been hard at work on more portfolio pieces (and refining existing ones). Lately I've been working on two game-friendly robots (both under 10k tris). The materials on them are only placeholders. I'll do their textures next. These were done in Maya. I must say, robots are pretty fun to do!
This is a little robot dragon thing. It has a flamethrower in its mouth and possibly color-change eyes. Also jet wings. Still considering adding a retractable grapple tail.
I call this one the Brain Crab. The two guns in front are retractable (there are little doors that shut too) and there is another one inside the big claw.
